Hormones, hormones, hormones

It seems so odd to me that in order to get pregnant (the most natural thing in the world) it will be necessary for me to pump my body full of all these hormones. I happen to be a person who dislikes taking ANY kind of medication. I only take aspirin when I really, really need it. To me, all these pills and injections and suppositories seem so foreign. I know it is a worthwhile trade-off, but I hate the thought of it. As of right now I am only taking birth control pills and I already feel like a cranky witch. This is going to be an interesting 6 weeks.
