At 9 o'clock this morning we got the call from the embryologist about how many of our 7 eggs fertilized. To me, this was the last great hurdle to cross. I had so many fears of hearing that only a couple fertilized. I never expected such great news. The very sweet woman with a beautiful accent told me that out of our 7 eggs, 6 FERTILIZED!!!!!!!!!!!! We were so very pleased. I honestly could not have asked for any better numbers. She said that everything was looking great. They will call tomorrow to tell us when the ET will be on Tuesday.
I am feeling much better today, although not back to normal. I still have a great deal of pain in my lower abdomen and still need the pain medication. I have spent a lot less time in bed, which is great. I get bored way too easily.
So, things continue to go eerily smooth. I am not looking forward to the long two week-wait, but I am sure it will go as fast as this whole cycle has gone.
