Today was the final ultrasound for the last follicle count. Here were the results:
Lining - 9mm
Right Ovary - 20.3, 15, 24.7, 24.7, 15.3, 17.7, 21.7, 17, 22.3, 21.3, 25.3, 2<10mm
Left Ovary - 24.7, 16, 12.3, 15.3, 16, 14.3, 3<10mm
So, it looks like we will have between 15 and 17 follicles to retrieve. Tonight I get my trigger shot of HCG, and this is the not-so-fun shot that goes into the muscle. Bry has to give me the shot in my butt and they say that it hurts quite a bit more than the intra-muscular ones I have been doing. Yuck! Anyway, HCG induces ovulation so that the follicles burst and allow the eggs to be retrieved. It also helps the follicles go through the last stage of maturation, so that they can be fertilized. We do nothing tomorrow and then go for the retrieval procedure on Saturday morning.
I have been doing the SC needles, now we move on to the big leagues ;>)

Eek! You'd better find a way to save all these posts/pictures so that one day when your little one(s) is/are in their teens giving you a hard time, you can remind them how lucky they are to have two parents who loved them since before they were even conceived! Hope the wait till Saturday isn't too bad!
Those numbers sound great. Here's hoping for a ton of mature eggs and that all goes well. Have my fingers crossed that the IM shot isn't as bad as it sounds. Good luck!
Kristen,
I found the HCG shot not that bad at all. I had it in my arm though & the doc did mine.
Good luck, all sounds like is ready to go for you, can't wait to hear the rest of your journey.
