So, we did the trigger shot at 12:30 last night. I had to wake my hubby from a dead sleep to give me a 2-inch needle injection. It made me a little nervous that he was half asleep, but he did awesome. I was also nervous cause a 2-inch needle looks very intimidating. It went in very easy, hardly any pain. It hurt more when he pulled the needle out. It was very sore last night while I tried to sleep and it hurts today, but not too bad. It was easier than I thought. I went for blood work today to make sure that I don't hyperstimulate.
We go tomorrow morning at 10:45 (yay, we get to sleep in) for the Egg Retrieval. I will go back and be put under anesthesia by a nurse anesthetist. They will use an ultrasound to get all of the eggs out. Bry will have to submit a "sample" while I am having my procedure. We then go home and I can sleep off the medications. I always have a tough time with anesthesia. The embryologist will then choose the strongest swimmers and use the ICSI process to fertilize all of the mature eggs. They will call us on Sunday morning and give us a report of how many eggs fertilized. Then we wait til Tuesday for our Egg Transfer. Tuesday just so happens to be our 7 year anniversary!

Glad that you get to sleep in tomorrow. Know that I'm thinking of you, sending you tons and tons of good thoughts. I hope that the anesthesia treats your well. GOODLUCK!
This all seems like it's happening so fast, but in a good way! Good luck today, I hope everything continues as smoothly for you as the past week(s) have. GL to both of you - tell Bry to give them some good swimmers to work with!!!
Here's hoping for great anesthesia with no problems, lots of mature follicles, healthy sperm, and that the ICSI goes well and yields quite a few embryos to choose from. Good luck!
