I went to the RE this am for blood work and an ultrasound. Today is day 8 of my IVF cycle and I have taken Lupron for 18 days and my Stims for 4 days. They were checking for how many follicles were forming. This is very important because we are sharing half of these eggs with another couple. Therefore, we definitely want a high number of follicles. They also check for uterine lining. They want the lining to be nice and thick, so the embryos have a soft place to implant.
Right Ovary - 13.3, 13, 12, 10.3, 3<10mm
Left Ovary - 11, 4<10
Lining - 9mm
So all in all, we have 12 follies forming and a nice thick lining. I am a little freaked that things have been going so smoothly. In like 26 months of trying to get pregnant, none of them have gone this smoothly. So I am hoping and praying that this might just be it.
