I have finally mustered up the energy to post. Everything went well this morning with the Embryo Transfer. We arrived at 10:15, after I drank 32 ounces of water. We sat in the office for a while and were finally taken back around 11:00. I had to change into the paper gown, booties and hat... same lovely outfit as Saturday. Brian got to wear one of those white paper jumpsuits with matching booties and hat. He looked so goofy.
They took us into the transfer rooms, gave me my valium and I got to rest on the table. The embryologist came in and told us that they would be transferring a 6-celled, a 7-celled and an 8-celled. Bry was so nervous about doing 3, but I was so glad. I have been so nervous that if we only did 2 and I didn't get pg, I would regret it. The remaining 3 embies will be frozen. They also gave us a picture of the 3 they are transferring. We now have the first pic for our baby book.
The doc, nurse and ultrasound tech came in to discover that my dang bladder was not full enough and I had to drink 4 MORE CUPS OF WATER! I thought I was going to burst. Once everything was in order, the procedure itself only took like 10 minutes. It was very uncomfortable, but tolerable. I had to lay elevated for 30 minutes and then got to go pee.
Since then I have been on bed rest and will remain here for the next two days. I am already bored, but it will be worth it I am sure.

Kristen, things seem to be going so smoothly for you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this remains the case! Good luck with the 2ww. Try to keep busy, if that's possible from the bed.
