I think things are finally starting to set in. For a while all I felt was pure excitement and elation. That quickly gave way to constant worry, and I don't think that will ever go away. Now I am feeling more like I am pregnant. I have some symptoms; exhaustion, indigestion, waves of nausea, headaches, peeing all the time and mild cramps from my uterus stretching. It is weird to finally get something that I wanted SO bad. I got caught in the mindset that I would never get pg, but here I am. It is truly a wonderful feeling.
Hopefully our first ultrasound will be this Wednesday. At that appointment we will find out how many babies stuck. Since my initial numbers were low, I assumed that there couldn't be more than one. Now that my doubling times have been so quick it is possible that there is more than one in there. I think it is only one, but who knows. We are also hoping that we might be one of the lucky couples who gets to hear the heartbeat early. It is possible to hear it, but not a sure thing. Hearing that sound will make this whole thing more "real".
