So, yesterday I started my daily injections. I had a tiny moment of hesitation before injecting into my belly, but it was fine. The only thing that bothers me is that my tummy itches for about an hour after the shot. I also tend to get headaches, stomach aches and exhaustion while on the Lupron. And I guess, I can get a little crabby. ;>)
I will be taking 10 units for 10 days and then go back for blood work and ultrasound. At that point they will most likely have me do Lupron for another 3 to 5 days before starting stims. It is hard to believe we are doing all this nonsense over again. It's a good thing we are fighters or I would be ready to scream right now. Thank goodness we are both just staying optimistic.
