The Tentative Plan

For those of you who have been following my IVF saga I thought I would share the "new and improved" plan. I should have been suppressing for a Sept. IVF this week, but that is not the case. Instead I am praying that we will be doing an October IVF. So now I wait until we see if we match with a recipient couple. They need to submit their choices this Wednesday so I am hoping to hear something by the end of the week. If everything works out and the couple is ready to move quickly I will continue with my BCP's next cycle. I should start my Lupron shots on day 21 of my next cycle. (Day 1 will be on Wednesday.) Thirteen days after that I should start my stims and about 10 or 11 days after that will be the ER.

Obviously this could all get screwed up. The couple might not be ready to jump right in, which would push everything back another month. Since the coordinators for the donor program know that I have been screwed over twice, my contact person said that she is going to do everything in her power to match us with a couple who is serious about moving forward. So, if everything goes according to plan, the Retrieval would be around October 20th. So, keeping our fingers crossed that this is how it works out.
