As the Lupron fun continues, I thought I would plot out all of the fun side effects. Since Lupron is a suppression drug, it sends you body into a menopausal state. So here is how things are going:
- I wake up in the morning feeling like I am going to simultaneously cry and puke
- Get off to work and realize that I feel SO MUCH BETTER
- Teach classes with gusto
- Get in my car to come home and feel like a miserable bitch again
- Get home and feel restless, bored, bitchy and uncomfortable
- Vacillate between whether I should sleep, eat, cry or scream
- Poor husband gets home and I am short with him
- If we have the kids, I am short with them too
- Each day I generally have headaches, stomach aches, body aches, hot flashes and worse insomnia than normal
The overall feeling is this restless uneasy feeling. It is like feeling bored, listless and like you could jump out of your own skin. I cannot wait to be done with these shots.

I am having most of these same side effects - especially the being short with people and being listless. Good to know I can blame it on the Lupron...though I've only taken the Lupron twice now - is that enough? Maybe it's also the BCP's...
Kris, I can totally relate to being thrown into the menopausal state. It sucks. It sucks to have to apologize to your hubby that you have no clue why you flew off the handle when he asks you to do something (at least that's the daily conversation at my house!). Seending good thoughts your way, hope there's some solution soon for your troubles.
