I sit and type this while looking out at the Atlantic Ocean. For Thanksgiving we make the long trek to Myrtle Beach, SC all the way from New Jersey. This year we decided to bring all three kids along for the trip. The ride down took about 11 hours, which was great fun with a car full of kids. I did ok, not too sick and not too bad of a headache. We arrived on Tuesday night about 8:30. The kids were exhausted, but I think Bry and I were more exhausted. We arrived to terrible rain and cold weather, which was a treat since we left behind 60's and sun. Thanksgiving was a nice day. The sun came out a bit and dinner was wonderful. I have found that I cannot eat as much as I once could. After about half of a normal "Thanksgiving Portion" I thought I was going to bust.
Anyway, we have spent the days playing football, swimming, walking the beach and shopping. The weather today is 60's, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. And even better, I don't feel miserably sick today. The worst I am feeling is a bit nauseous, a light headache and very tired out. Guess some days will be better than others. Just have to learn to appreciate the good ones.
