You guys have got me thinking about all the possibilities for our babies. It is always exciting to find out what your baby is, but with twins it just seems even more exciting. The dynamics of our family will be so dynamically different depending on what we have. Should it be two girls they and I would rule the roost. It would be an estrogen household and poor Bry would be outnumbered. If it is two boys I would be the outnumbered party. Instead of clothes and boys we could focus on sports and video games. Then if we have a boy and a girl, we have the best of both worlds. But then I ask myself, will they get along as well and have as strong a bond if they are not the same sex. Could that create less competition? More?
I am by no means worried or anxious about it, it is just so exciting. Waiting to find out the implications for the rest of our life is so very exciting.

exciting is right! I hope you get your hormonal balance. My neighbor has b/g twins from IVF and she says thay play together wonderfully. It is important that they each have a same gender playmate as well, but luckily we have plenty of kids on our block so that's covered.
I can't speak for twins, but my brother and I have always been very close. In fact, he was my "man of honor" at my wedding instead of having a maid of honor. I have to admit we are pretty competitive with each other, but I think that's more our personalities than our gender.
How exciting that you'll hopefully be finding out gender soon! :)
