My doc called me personally to tell me that unfortunately the only thing they can give me because of my allergy is insulin. :>( It isn't a huge deal, but I was hoping to control it without insulin. The good thing is that I only have to do injections at night, at least to start out. Hopefully that will control my fasting sugar. So far I am doing ok with controlling it during the day with diet. So, it is back to injections for me.

Blah, blah, blah. Sorry to hear that you have to end the pg on injections. Kinda funny how we come full circle sometimes. You had to inject yourself to get these babies, now you inject yourself to keep them healthy (as well as you) to get them out okay.
I did similar. I had surgery to get pg (remove the polyps); then had surgery to get Katie here (c-section).
bummer on the insulin, but really, it's very very simple. Annoying, but simple. I hope it keeps your fasting numbers down, but don't be surprised if they have to up your dose a few times before the end. My fastings were hardest to control last time and I ended up on quite a bit of the NPH insulin (slow-release version) before he was here.
and the injections return. Just when you thought you were done with those! sorry to hear you have to take insulin injections!
