Today I had another appointment with my OB. I was a little worried that I might get "in trouble" for my blood sugars, but it didn't go too bad. My sugar has been pretty good after all my meals but my fasting test first thing in the morning has been about 15 points too high almost every morning. She decided to prescribe me an oral medication that I would take every night to try to get it down. I went to have it filled right after since she wanted me on it right away. Turns out it has traces of sulfas in it and I am allergic to sulfa drugs. Now I am waiting for the OB to talk to my peri and decide what to do with me. I hope this doesn't mean I will have to do insulin (since that is the next step). I assume I will hear tomorrow.
Other than the sugar I gained a little under 3 pounds since my last appointment, which is good. Abby's heartbeat was 142 and Gracie's was 148. My BP was 122/80 and no signs of pre-E from my urine test. That was good news. I now have to go for weekly appointments and pretty soon they will start doing dilation checks and non-stress tests. So, other than the diabetes, everything looks pretty good.

That's wonderful news! Hopefully you won't have to take insulin but if you do, it's really not so bad, and it's not permanent :)
Yuck on possibly having to do insulin! Hopefully, you won't have to do that.
Great news on everything else!
