We thought last night was going to be the night (well it actually was Saturday). At dinner time I started having back pain and cramp like feelings in my stomach. Around 1am I started having real contraction about every 6-7 min. My back killed and my stomach got all tight. I couldn't walk or talk until the passed. I called the service and they had the doc call me back.She asked me a bunch of questions and told me that I could go to the hospital or wait it out to see if it progressed. She said with twins it is not unusual to have some runs of real contractions before the real deal. I decided to wait since it was almost 2am at that point. They did eventually slow down and I was able to sleep some. So far today I have had some little ones, but nothing big yet.

Ooh! How exciting! I had the same thing happen to me right before my daughter was born. I got up because I was having stomach/back pain and realized that I was having contractions. They lasted for about two hours but finally slowed down and eventually went away. I had my daughter a little over a week later. Hopefully you don't have that much longer to wait! I'm thinking about you and praying for perfectly healthy little ones to join you soon! Take care!
