Yesterday our little peanuts turned 4 months old. It is unbelievable to think they have been here for 4 months. It is stranger to imagine what life was like without them. It has been an amazing few months and we are so excited about all the changes that are coming in the next few.
We go to the pediatrician tomorrow. I am nervous about shots (should be a long week) and about what the doc will think about Abby. She is well behind on milestones, which we knew was likely. Her cognitive ability is right on target but her motor is at least a month behind (if not more). We knew that with the low birthweight and the ventriculomegaly that she might need a developmental specialist I was just hoping to not need PT so soon. I guess we will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

take the PT soon as you can get it. There is nothing to be gained by waiting. Who knows? A little PT now may mean less later or perhaps catching up completely.
