It was this day, a year ago, that I found out the most amazing thing in the world. I was pregnant. So for those of you who think I patiently waited for my beta (like I said I did :>) ), I didn't. Sorry, I know I am a fibber, but I cheated. I was watching the Eagles game and they were getting beaten. For those of you who know me and what a sports fan I am this will make sense. For those who don't I will sound like a first rate idiot for my logic. So since they were losing I though to myself 'I am already depressed about the game so why not just test and see it is negative and get all my depression out of the way at once.' I cooly waited until half time and calmly peed on the stick. I watched, expecting that lonley line I had seen so many times before. But that is obviously not what happened.
Instead I got the most wonderful, amazing, unexpected surprise of my life. I guess I shouldn't have been so shocked since I had done a round of IVF with 3 embies transferred but I didn't feel pregnant. Sure enough there were two lines. The second line needed no squinting or additional lighting to be seen... IT WAS THERE!!!
Bry was out with our nephews, niece and his parents. I had to tell someone so I called my best friend (you know who you are) and told her what had happened. Two days later the beta confirmed not only was I pregnant but I was VERY pregnant with a beta of 371!!!! The rest is history and here we are. I just thought that day deserved a little reliving.

Even though the Eagles TOTALLY got their butts kicked that game, it was a fantastic night!
Cris and I were looking at some pictures from this time last year and I was hugely pregnant and getting ready for the version on the 1st -- hoping they could turn the baby head down!
Hard to believe how far we've come in a year.
