Today marked my first PSU game in 29 years of being a fan. My Mom bought tickets for my Dad, Genna and I and we were all so excited. It was cold and supposed to be rainy today so we wore LAYER upon LAYER of clothes. It ended up not raining and it wasn't too cold (between 40 and 42). The Linc is a beautiful stadium and there are no bad seats in the house. We were in an upper level in the end zone and THAT was a great view. You could really see the holes open up and the passing lanes. It was a very different perspective than what I am used to (50 yard line at a high school game).
PSU won 31-0 and Temple barely put up a fight. The Blue Band was AMAZING and I really enjoyed that (despite not being a big fan of marching bands). The drum major started the half time show by marching out and doing a flip in the air. It was very cool to see. Unfortunately we had some serious drunk people behind us who decided to use the "F" bomb as every other word. I thought of asking them to to stop (since Genna was with us) but thought it best to avoid a brawl with the lushes.
All in all it was a very fun day and the girls were angels for their Mom-Mom. They love my Mom and sometimes behave better for her than me. :>) I was away from them for almost 7 1/2 hours, our longest time ever since the NICU.
I Also wanted to say a huge to Miss KT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the b-day wishes.
Glad that you had such a great game yesterday. It's nice to have some time away once in a while. Especially when it's to do something so fun!
