There are some special powers that you cannot possess unless you are a Mom. I didn't believe it until I had my own kids, but sure enough my super powers kicked in too. The great part of being a Mom of Multiples is that your super powers are more like super duper powers. Here are a few secret powers that twin Moms possess:
- Our sense of smell is heightened to the point of inconvenience. We know when a poopy diaper has a occurred before anyone else, but boy do we smell it.
- We have intuition when a screaming fit is upon us.
- We can grocery shop while pulling a cart and pushing a double stroller if we have to.
- We can do ANYTHING with one hand.
- We can tell our children just from scent.
- We can tell the difference between our twins cries, sighs, and coos from across the house.
- We are capable of doing at least 12 things at once.
- We can do laundry in our sleep.
- We can get by on about 5 minutes of sleep per day.
- We can calm two screaming babies simultaneously.
- We do have eyes in the back of our heads
- We have a secret third hand that we only use when no one is looking. ;>)

- We can do just about anything with our feet (Thanks Becky!!)
... Anyone else have any to add?

We do amazing things with our feet too.
Haha! I love this!
Hi Kristin. I have been reading your blog since the early days, before I myself did IVF and I have been referring to your blog ever since to see if my pregnancy was going normal (for twins), if my babies were doing what they should be etc…I did IVF in Feb 2007, B/G twins born Oct 2007 – now 12 weeks old, my girl also has reflux. Maybe you could post the answer, but just wondering what the twins schedule was like around 12 weeks and now. You know, wake up time, eat time, play time, nap etc – just a typical day. I just feel like I should be “entertaining” them more, just wondering what kind of things you did/do to entertain them?? They are just starting to be so interactive and I feel like the play mat and the swing just aren’t doing it for them anymore. And it’s so hard with twins to play with/hold both at the same time! My husband travels a lot, so it’s just me most of the time. I feel like I’m always neglecting one of them. Any tips? Sorry such a long post :)
