I am so pleased with what a beautiful Christmas we had this year. We spent Sunday with Brian's family and did dinner and gifts. The girls, the boys and Genna got wonderful toys and Brian and I got some very nice things as well. Christmas Eve was nutty. We had lots of wrapping, last minutes details and preparing to do. We slept at my parents so we didn't have to get the girls up super early to make it in time to watch the big kids open gifts. So we went to Christmas Eve mass at 5 and then went back to my parents. The girls went to bed around 10 and we all stayed up to watch Christmas movies. We got up bright and early to see what Santa brought and open gifts. Santa was very kind to the babies... bringing them toys, the Fisher Price bouncer, musical instruments, books, CD's, DVD's, a CD player and some other fun stuff. My Mom-mom made each baby a hand made raggedy ann doll. They were so beautiful.
After gifts I made everyone breakfast and the kids spent the day playing with their toys. We had an early (and huge) dinner and spent the night hanging out. The girls were in heaven having so many people to play with and hold them. It was such a nice Christmas for us since we have had to live through so many longing for children to share it with. We have always been so lucky to have Will, Jordan and Genna to love and help raise. It is extra nice to have all our 5 children together.
