I am not sure if I posted about all of our colds so far this winter but we have had 4 already. Only one led to ear infections and serious crankiness. The others were just more of a pain. Well, we're not even done the antibiotics from the last round and #5 has struck. Brian woke up feeling crummy and I knew we were in for it. Abby sounded very congested last night but I hoped it was because she was tired... not sick. Of course when the girls woke up they were snotty, congested and not very pleasant. So far today no one is eating, no one is smiling, even Mommy. ;>)
All I can say is that damn groundhog better not see his shadow.
* Edited to add: Abby ended up this afternoon with a 102 fever. I talked to the pedi and they didn't want her in the office exposed to more germs. They are afraid of a baby her size getting RSV or pneumonia. Instead we are temping her every 30 min to an hour and keeping a close eye on her.

We were like that last year in our household. It would seem like D would get over his sickness, I would get it then, and then I'd pass it on to the hubby. Then the whole thing would start over again. Even cleaning everything constantly just didn't seem to get those nasty colds out of our house. Thankfully, this year hasn't been nearly as bad.
I look at it this way...at least D's immune system will be good and strong!
Hang in there. It's common for babies to get anwhere from 7-10 colds a year. (I about fainted when my ped told me that!)
I thought we were the only ones! We're on our third since the second week of December. But 5..with twins. I hope you all feel better soon!
