There isn't anything specific to update on but I thought I would give a general baby update:
Gracie - Our Gigi is doing wonderfully. Not that we don't have some small issues but she is such a joy. She is the loudest baby I have ever known which is both amazing and trying. When she is happy she is deliriously happy but when she is mad she is VERY mad. It would be impossible to not know what Grace is feeling. :>) She still has some feeding issues. She is now on Zantac for the puking and reflux but it doesn't seem to be helping. We might have to add Reglan to see if that helps. She is not gaining much weight which the doc isn't super surprised or concerned with for now. We weight her twice a week and if she consistently loses weight then we go back to the pedi. She is getting more accustomed to eating food. She now eats rice or oatmeal with bananas, peaches, apples, sweet potatoes, squash or carrots. She has also started eating these Gerber "puffs". They are made from sweet potatoes and dissolve in their mouths. But she likes to eat "big girl food." She is almost rolling from her back to her belly and can easily roll from belly to back. Her milestones are a little behind but that is often typical for twins, especially those born small. She is definitely our louder and more demanding twin. She would be happy to be held ALL DAY LONG which obviously can't happen. She especially loves her Daddy. When Daddy comes home from work she lights up. People sometimes remind me (and I HATE when they do) not to "forget" about Grace in all of the medical stuff with Abby. If you know Gracie you know that NO ONE can "forget" about Grace. She wouldn't allow it. ;>)
Abby: Abby is also doing wonderfully. Her PT is coming along great. We have good days and bad but for the most part she is makes huge amounts of progress. She holds up her head great and has started standing with help. She eats like a pig and LOVES cereal. She takes the same fruits and veggies as Gracie, just in greater quantities. Who would have thought 6 months ago that Abs would be the better eater. She is gaining well and catching up on her sister. She is our quieter, happier twin. She is much less demanding and will spend more time occupying herself. She loves to talk and babble and she is the giggler of the two. She laughs at EVERYTHING. She loves to be with Mommy and sometimes cries when Mommy is not holding her.
Twin Stuff: The girls have really started noticing one another. They will smile at each other and sometimes even laugh at the other. Most of the time they just want the others toys. They do still provide a lot of comfort for each other. If one baby is inconsolable we will put them together in a crib and they will be quiet. It is amazing to watch two people be so close without even realizing the other one is there.
