Everything seemed fine this morning when we all woke up. Abby's fever had broken and she seemed to be in better spirits. She still wasn't eating well but looked a lot better. She did sleep a lot this morning and took a really long afternoon nap. We she woke at 3 it all started again. Her fever spiked to 102 in an hour and she was puking and had diarrhea. We called the pedi and they had us come right over. Thankfully my Mom stayed with Gracie so we didn't have to expose her to even more germs. The pedi said that she is afraid that some sort of infection is brewing but they symptoms just aren't clear yet. She had us make another appointment on Saturday morning in hopes that whatever is going on will present itself by then. She is also having us keep a very close eye on her intake, output and fever. If things are the same we have to go back tomorrow. If no cause is clear but the fever remains they will send us to the hospital for blood-work, chest x-ray and urine sample (which involves catheterizing).
All that being said we make our appointment and came home. Abby felt even warmer so I took her temp and it was 103. We called the on-call pedi but couldn't get through. We were about a half an hour late on her Tylenol dose so we gave it to her and took her temp every 10 minutes (which my sister told us to do). Just when we had her all packed up to go to the ER her fever started to come down. The poor thing is just so sick. Her eyes are black, she does nothing but sleep or sit and stare. It is just awful to watch our little trooper be so sick. Hopefully by tomorrow she will be a little better.

Poor Abby. Poor you! I hope that you all get a reprieve from this sickness soon.
