The girls are doing a little better every day. Gracie seems to be much more like herself today, just with tons of congestion. We use saline mist and the nasal aspirator throughout the day. She hates it and screams like a crazy person but it helps. Her fever is down around 99 now. Abby still has a miserable cough and a fever around 99.5 with Tylenol. If the fever persists another day or two we have to take her back to the doctor.
As for the tired parents, we are TIRED!! Neither of us (all four of us really) are not sleeping terribly well. Abby coughs a lot at night even though we have her sleeping in her glider chair still. Gracie has discovered sleeping on her belly which I think helps with the congestion a little. Having twins can be very draining but when they are both sick it is even more exhausting than usual. You should try a Nosefrida, it is safer and the kids tolerate it better than regular nasal aspirators. Best of luck.
