I am trying to busy myself while waiting for Abby's test results. We had blood work and urine cultures run last Monday to check for metabolic disorders or chromosomal disorders to account for the structural abnormalities in her brain.
I called and left a message this morning and the doc will call back sometime today. It is scary as hell knowing that she could be fine but I could also find out she has a non-treatable metabolic disorder or chromosomal problem. Waiting is the hardest part... and it sucks big time!

Gotta love the wait.
My doctor was supposed to have the results on Friday afternoon from my HIDA scan that morning. The nurse told me earlier that she hasn't seen them yet...
Damned doctors. Don't they know people are concerned?
I haven't been able to check on everyone's blogs in a while. I hope that everything is o.k. with Abby!
We're about to make a trip over to the other side of the state (about a 5 hour trip) - this will be Ben & Ella's longest car ride yet. I'm glad your trip seems to have went well!
