I do not mean to sound like some crunchy granola MoM here because that I am not but since the girls have started solids I have committed to making most of their baby food from scratch. They still get some jarred food (when Mommy is lazy or tired) but we try to do most meals homemade. It was so easy at first when they just ate fruits and veggies. Now that they eat meats, pasta, rice, etc. it has gotten a little tougher. Meeting the likes and dislikes of two can be a challenge. Then you add Abby's milk allergy to the mix and it can be downright hard to mix things up. Right now our faves are toast with soy cream cheese, soy yogurt with fruit, avacados and chicken, sweet potatoes and banana and organic waffles. It is fun to play around with different foods and recipes but they seem to like about half of what I make. :>)
