We got some more good news today... Abby's neurologist called today and her karyotype came back NORMAL! No chromosomal or genetic abnormalities. This was the last big test we were waiting for. There are a couple metabolic tests still pending but they are all very unlikely.
This was such great news because it means that she doesn't have anything major underlying her motor delays and brain structure anomalies. It is just the way her brain developed and will not likely mean anything more than the motor issues we are working on. What a great feeling!
We also finally heard back from EI today and we have a therapist. We will start the in-home PT next Wednesday morning.
