After a trip to my grandmom's pool that ended in a bad reaction to baby-proof, hypoallergenic sunscreen my Dad and I decided that we needed a new plan of attack for our upcoming vacation. We can't keep Abby out of the sun for two weeks but we can't sunscreen her and let her have reactions for two weeks either. While discussing a light bulb went off and we thought of those surfer rashguard suits. Low and behold One Step Ahead came through in the clutch. So... surf's up dude!

OMG - so cute!!
Oh my gosh, how cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can also try a titanium/zinc oxide sunscreen. They are heavier than other sunscreens and aren't as waterproof AND are more expensive, but they work great and are much gentler to a baby's skin because they aren't absorbed into the skin. Diapers.com sells them.
