American Idol

I will start this blog post with the disclaimer that I am NOT a big American Idol fan. I watched season 1 and 2 and lost interest. My niece, Genna, is a HUGE fan though. She is in love with David Cook and has his picture plastered all over her room. (Gag!) For her birthday (she turned 13 this year) my Mom wanted to do something extra special for her party so Genna is taking two of her friends to the American Idol concert. I took Genna to the first one seven years ago and it was very cute. I am lucky enough to be one of the chaperones to this concert tonight. Honestly, I'd rather sit it out and get some of my crap done but it's important to he and therefore important to me. Should be an interesting night. :D
