You know when you go to the mall and see you see that parent with the kid on the leash. Be honest, we all think how terrible it is to leash a child. Well... don't judge me. 
In my defense Gracie is the kind of kid that if you let go for literally one second she is gone. Seriously the kid will run away from you in Target or the grocery and never look back. I joke that she is always on the look-out for a better, nicer family. Maybe she really is???

We have a leash for Kate too.
What makes me a worse parent? Forcing her to sit in the cart/stroller and SCREAM because she wants to walk, or putting a leash on her so she doesn't get away?
Screw the comments. It's not like she's chained to the bed with 4 feet of steel chain.

I'll totally use those. I saw a little girl a few months ago in the airport with the same backpack and I knew I would be using them for my two. p.s. what kind of shoes are they wearing?? those are sooo cute!
They are Sherpa Boots/slippers from Target. I think they were only like $6 or $7 on the sock aisle. We LOVE them!
I've always thought they were a good idea and far more humane than screaming in strollers or letting the kid get lost.
