This was a great post, I have often wondered on many of those same things myself!
If you are a bad mother, then so am I, we don't watch Dora, Barney, Wiggles or Blue Clues either. Ariel loves Sesame Street, but we got her the old school set, the good stuff before Elmo took over the show. ;)
I always run out of shampoo before conditioner. Hmmmm...
And no Dora, Barney or Wiggles here. We do see Blues Clues periodically. *oops* But our TV viewing is mainly limited to Word World (love that show!), Sesame Street, Clifford...do you see a theme with PBS?
The same size bottles are a conspiracy of the shampoo companies :)
I'm serious though. Most people don't need to shampoo all that often, but they've got us convinced we need to shampoo every single day, when it's bad for your hair.
I have long, curly hair, and when not pregnant I shampoo once a week and condition every day. Of course, pregnancy makes my hair super greasy so I shampoo every other day.
But, also as a long hair who's obsessed with her hair quality, I strongly recommend Suave Naturals. It's like $2 and some of the best conditioner for your hair out there. Dimethicone, a common ingredient in conditioner, masks damage and allows split ends to get longer before you notice them. Suave doesn't use that, so your actual hair quality is better.
Also, hi! Longtime lurker.
