For those of you who are Phillies fans you have undoubtedly heard the news but just in case you haven't today we Philadelphians tragically lost the iconic voice of our Phillies. Harry Kalas died today at 1:20 p.m. My heart breaks at the thought that I will never again hear those words "that ball is out of here...".
Harry the K was a mere 73 years young.
He had been a broadcaster for 43 years, and spent 38 years with the Phillies.
Hopefully Harry and Whitey are up in heaven looking down and laughing together.
He will be missed.
