I love how at the this stage of development kids can really come up with the most hilarious and sometimes grown up sayings. I was going to write them in their baby books so I could look back and laugh but I figured why not share them here. Then you might all get a laugh and I will have them recorded.
Abby's Gems from this week:
* She was sitting on the chair when she was supposed to be doing OT. So I asked her what she was doing. She very seriously looks at me and says "Mommy, I on time out. I pilled (spilled) the juice".
*We went out to lunch with my Mom this week and Gracie was eating bread that had butter on it. Abby grabs my arm, has a sad look on her face and says "Bread has milk in it, I can't have it". She is TWO for heaven's sake.
* At football this weekend Abby was being particularly naughty. I said to someone at a whisper that Abby was being a brat. She obviously overhear me because she told me "I not a brat, Grace a brat."
* She followed that one up a couple minutes later when she said "Mommy, I see baby". I asked her where and she pointed right at me and said "right there". The kid really is a brat.
* When I was pushing naps back for speech the other day she was whining and crying and she threw herself on the floor, covered her face with her hands and said "I so tired and SO cranky". :D
"Mommy, I farted". Gotta love that one.
Her newest fave is when she sees anything remotely amusing she will say "that is so funny". You'd swear she was like a 40 year old.
Gracie's gems (these are more about how well she is doing than funny. I am sure she will have some doozies soon).
"While eating that bread she told Abby "has milk Abby". It wasn't terribly clear but we knew what she meant.
"This morning she requested "wawa and subup" (waffles and syrup). So nice when she can communicate what she wants.
She lowers her voice to this goofy tone and says "Hi, I Daddy."
