We made it back, safe and alive. No children had to be sedated and no parent jumped from the aircraft. All in all the girls did awesome on our trip. We heard no crying, whining or even loudness on either flight. We had some trouble getting them to sleep (the first night my 8 o'clock bedtime, 9 at the latest, children were up past midnight). Today they never took a nap but survived a two hour car trip then a couple hours at the airport, an hour plus flight and hour ride home.
The wedding was nice but visiting with all of Brian's extended family was nicer. It was wonderful to see people we haven't seen in a very, very long time.
Traveling with two two-year-olds isn't easy but we have learned that with extra help (aka Brian's folks) it is doable.
