Our Halloween this year involved a bit of bunting. I showed you all the pictures a couple weeks back of the costumes the girls were supposed to wear. As it turned out our NJ Halloween was another indian summer day. Weather in the 70's caused us to rethink the very heavyweight costumes we intended on. So at 1pm the day of we picked out the costumes that the girls ended up wearing and loving. Instead of zebras they went as fairy princesses.
Gracie LOVED the entire experience. We set out trick-or-treating with all 5 kids plus some of their friends around 5:30. Gracie quickly discovered that a cute 2 year old can make a killing at getting candy on a night like Halloween. Abby was not into it so she and I went home to hand out candy, which she enjoyed. Gracie disappeared with my Dad, my sister and her husband for over an hour and she came home with a huge bag full of candy. :D She had a great time.
After trick-or-treating we had a baseball party at our house with my family. The Phillies offense unfortunately decided to take the night off (with the notable exception of Werth) so we're hoping tonight is a better night.
