In a shocking turn of events it turns out that Abby is eligble for DDD! I thouht for sure that after all those hoops it was going to be more waiting and fighting. I spoke with our contact at DDD this afternoon and she's in. The good part is once she has it she has it forever. She will always be eligible for services and a stipend. The bad part is the state has frozen the assets available for DDD so it wil be a while before she gets anything (so much for DDD helping with the cost of her braces). It's nice to get a piece of good news!
