Ok, this is a vent. I know it sounds petty but I have got to get it off my chest. Today I went with my Mom and the girls to Babies R Us. Lately the girls have been wetting through their diapers at night so to preserve our crib sheets I have started buying diaper inserts for better absorption. (Anyway, I am digressing.) When we went into the store my Mom mentioned that my sister had registered at BRU this past week. It seemed funny to me to register when you are not having a shower and when we gave her almost everything you would need. (Remember my moral dilemma of giving away all of our stuff a couple months back? I did give her everything I had PLUS my Mom and I gave her, as her baby gift, three laundry baskets full of necessities; diaper, wipes, tylenol, washcloths, comb, brush, soap, shampoo, butt cream, blankets, swaddle blankets, etc., etc., etc.)
We decided to take a look and make sure there wasn't anything that she was going to need that we forgot. I was shocked to see that she had registered for EVERYTHING. Including all of the stuff I had given her. Carseat, swing, bouncy chair, clothes, toiletry set, mobile, bedding, stroller... EVERYTHING. She is living off the government but she is somehow too good for used baby things. And I keep my baby things meticulous.
Ugg... she is so frustrating. So I thought I was doing this kind thing of helping her when she needed it and it was all for nothing.

I don't have anything constructive to say... Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you... *HUGS*
It's not petty to want your well-cared for items to be used by someone who will appreciate them. I would be mad too!
Glad you guys understand. I hate even reading my own words... sounds so downright petty. I just wish she had enough of a head on her shoulders to realize since she HAS those things from us to go register for and buy things she is going to need like diapers, wipes, toiletries, etc. She is too caught up in having the newest, most high tech things. AAAHHHH!!!
