Sometimes it really feels like my To Do List doubles when I am not looking. I think every Mom should be assigned a no-cost secretary as a way of thanking her for her service. Doubt that is gonna happen any time soon though.
So far I have checked off the following today: reschedule Gracie's surgery (still July), reschedule OT for next week (conflict), paperwork for endocrine appointment for next week, paperwork for both girls for their social evals next week for preschool, went back and forth from gi doc to pharmacy to gi doc to pharmacy about gracie's medicine (they have to make her a compound), made the list of adaptive equipment we need for Abby so I can call DDD to get her on the waiting list, clean the kitchen floor, grade some papers for work and do three loads of laundry. The problem is in spite of knocking those things off my list over the course of the day I have added five new things on top of what is sitting on the list.
How did it happen that my calendar and daily to do list have become the supreme ruler of our house?!? I know I am not the only one here. I think we all need to throw out calendars out, ignore the to do list and go to the park!
