It was a bit of a long weekend doing it myself but we made it. I think it tells me that my husband is not doing enough around the house when a weekend where he is away feels just about the same as a normal weekend. The only exception is I had to feed the dog and take him out. The girls missed him. I missed him. But the time on my own is refreshing. I can watch what I want. Sleep when I want. Drink the whole pot of coffee in the morning.
Don't get me wrong I would never want to be on my own for more than a few days but the girls and I do okay for ourselves. :D

Although really exhausting, it does make you feel good to be self sufficient.
Next time Bry gets to take the girls when he goes so you get the whole weekend to YOURSELF. ;)

I know exactly what you're talking about - weekends/time without DH is pretty much the same for me, or even easier (without the ability to run a quick errand sans kids in the evening)!
