IN an effort to prep the girls for behaving themselves in a school environment I decided it was time to employ a token economy system. All kids like getting treats so why not force them to earn their treats. We went out and bought a behavior chart (we now have one for each girl) and they have certain things they must do to earn stars. When you earn five stars you get to pick from my prize jar. It has little things like stickers, lollipops, fruit snacks, etc. Not much but so far it is highly motivating.

I found them first at our local AC Moore but after I bought them there I found them at Target. AC Moore was a little more expensive but if you clip the 40% off coupon they use each week they go from around $8 to less than $5. A great buy and the starts are magnetic which I love.
