Abby learned to catch

For almost a year we have been working on Abby's ability to catch a ball. It has been a hard thing to get her brain to reqire because it involves so many motor systems (both fine and gross motor) to accomplish the task. After a lot of work and practice she has FINALLY learned to catch the ball with greater than 50% accuracy. It is an odd way of catching. She basically lets the ball bounce off of her chest (for input) and then closes her arms. It's not the traditional way, but it works!!
