We have welcomed to our family a new friend. His name (on which the girls both agreed) is Elfie Dudehammer. He will be sharing our home for the next month to keep watch over two monkey girls and promptly reporting to Santa. He has become, in a very short time, one of my most favorite holiday traditions. If you haven't heard about The Elf on the Shelf click here to get more details.
Elfie has flown to the North Pole each night and races back to us to settle into a new spot by morning. The girls wake up each morning and squeal with delight once they find him. It is so much fun!

Cute! We love Elvis (that's what Ava named her Elf)! I seriously considered putting him back on duty over the summer when behavior got a little hairy around here for a few weeks ;-)
M - I totally get that. Elfie may need to make periodic pit stops to our house throughout the year. :D
