Coasting

I like this time in between Christmas and New Years. The stress of planning, cooking and cleaning has unwound. The kids are off from school. There is no where to be and nothing to do. I love that! Yesterday we got almost a foot of snow so today, instead of straightening out the house, we played in the snow! Usually Abby lasts about 10 minutes in the snow and goes in but today she lasted over an hour! So we all played outside for a good long while. It was so nice.

Tomorrow we have more of nothing to do and more of nowhere to go. We will watch Night at the Museum (a new fave) and do our best to put a dent in the leftover Christmas cookies. It doesn't get much better than that.
