Today we were having a not so great day. I am coming down with a cold. We have been stuck inside too much. It was just a long day. So after giving the girls a bath and getting splashed almost from head to toe I was annoyed. It was 8 o'clock and I still hadn't had dinner. So I was FRIED. The girls were obviously plugged into this because they kept asking "are you happy with me Mom" to which I would answer "not particularly". They were being bratty about getting dressed and I was seriously about to lose my cool. Just when the urge to yell came over me Grace looks at Abby and says "I think we owe Mommy an apology" and they both promptly looked at me and said "WE'RE sorry" in perfect unison.
How in the heck can you not just melt at that. :D I realize I was being worked like a poker table but I'll take it!
