Irritating

I am an avid user of Mac products. I use a mac laptop, a mac mini, I have an I Pod and Brian has his I Phone. I had the first generation I Pod (the thing weighed like 5 pounds ;D). I haven't owned a PC since before I got married. I love Apple!

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of the I Phone for Verizon. I like Verizon and have been locked into my family plan. I always knew Apple and Verizon would work something out and as I am sure you all know they finally did. Unlike many of my fellow Mac users I am not the type to rush out the day something is released. I am a patient Mac user. :D

I didn't plan to rush out and buy one of the first day but when I got the link to see if I was eligible I put my info in. I was shocked, disappointed and frankly irritated when the form told me that I could either pay $699 (are you kidding me) to get one right away or wait until MARCH, 2012! Are you kidding me?!?

How could anyone in their right mind (IN THIS ECONOMY) spend $700 on a phone?

Shame on you Apple for perpetuating this economic crisis. We all know it takes nowhere near $700 to make and support a phone so shame on you!
