The girls woke up super excited about their party. I was shocked that they weren't upset that the rainy day had moved the party from the pool to our house.
There were gifts
(How cute is this ring sling my sis found on etsy for Abby???)
And more gifts
And even more gifts
They ate pizza and chips and played in their sandbox
Can you tell who loves her sandbox?
We hung out for a while
Played some games
Must be a twin thing
Honey took first prize
Then came cake time!
(I made ice cream cone cupcakes)
Then came the BIG moment... the moment they got their present from Honey and Poppa!!!
Good times, good times.

My son has major food allergies to milk, egg, and tree nuts. I know your daughter has some food allergies as well. Those cupcakes looks so much better than any vegan cupcake I make or buy. Also, do you make vegan pizza or buy it somewhere? Just curious!
Kristen, seriously what a cute bday party. I especially love the little car. I think I know a little girl in VA who will need one of those. Is it pedal power or battery. I love all of your pictures and always love Abby and Grace's smiles. Hope you have a great summer. And, as an aside, how is Cliff doing?
Anon - We recently found out that some of the Betty Crocker frostings are now made vegan so that is the top. I buy the Vanilla cake mix from trader joe's (which is vegan) and it calls for butter and eggs and milk. I use soy butter, egg replacer and soy milk. They come out delicious! Also, for pizza we found a local pizza shop that makes "tomato bread" which is 100% vegan. We do make out own using store bought dough, pizza sauce (most are vegan) and either top without cheese or use soy cheese. We've definitely learned to get creative. :D
Patty - It's battery powered! It's just a power wheels but it's the Smart Car. Very small and compact but it can move FAST. The girls are loving it!
