For those of us who have lived in the world of infertility (IF) "charting" is something that becomes second nature to us. Some use a calendar. Some use a computer program (me!). Some keep track in other ways. We track our cycles. We track symptoms and feelings and basal body temperature and medications and on and on. We begin to know our cycles like the back of our hands.
I was reviewing some of my more recent cycles to bring with me to my IVF consult in a few weeks and I noticed a block in my computer program that tells me how many cycles I have saved. SIXTY EIGHT! 68!! Incredible. It's hard to believe that I have spend the past 5 and half years "charting". Not to mention the months I spent charting before I found this program. I guess the fact that I can't yet set my watch to my cycle is a miracle. :D
It's a weird, complicated world... Infertility. We do things we never imagined. We push ourselves further physically, mentally and emotionally than we thought we could. It shows you what you are made of. It's hard to believe I have been in this world for such a long time now. Feels like only yesterday...
