After we moved into our house we had an awakening. We bought this house that was so much bigger than our last. We had so much more room but within a month it felt cramped. We found ourselves falling into the trap of buying more than we need. Paying others to do work we could do. Not living smart and simple. It opened our eyes to what we are capable of. Since then we have fixed up our own house, worked on our own cars, started growing our own food, living better within our means. It is something we are incredibly proud of. One of the things we are most proud of is what we have done with the little plot of land that is ours. We have put so much blood, sweat and even tears into our yard. It's small and meager but it's OURS.

Wow, that is a huge transformation! You should be proud!! Looks great.
This is AMAZING! You guys must be so proud - that is a LOT of work. Our whole yards are torn up at the moment and I look at them and get overwhelmed. I guess one thing at a time, huh?
