About five days ago Grace started complaining that her mouth hurt. We saw a few ulcers in her mouth so chocked it up to that. The day before yesterday it went from bad to worse. Neither she or I slept for more than about 30 minutes straight on Wednesday night. I took her to the doc yesterday and they confirmed she had coxsackievirus which is the hand, foot & mouth thing. Poor baby is COVERED in ulcers in her mouth, throat and tongue. Last night was another doozy of sleeping in 30 minute bursts.
Thankfully she seems a tiny bit better today (she's been able to drink milk and NOT cry non-stop). Hopefully we're turning the corner a little.
