Since someday I might want to look back and actually remember parts of this pregnancy I am trying to record some of it. ;D The OB's office gave me a journal which I am trying to use but this is just easier.
I am now 29.5 weeks. I should be scheduling my c-section any day now. As of right now I feel fairly alright. I have to pee continuously, even more than with the girls. I am guessing that's since I am carrying super low. My back aches but it pales in comparison to a twin pregnancy. This baby is a mover and a shaker. When he gets moving it actually hurts! You can watch my belly completely change shape. I am battling the heartburn but that's not shocking. Unfortunately the third trimester has settled upon me and so has the exhaustion and nausea. I had that experience with the girls and had hoped it was a twin thing. Guess it' a me thing.
I am having a ton of contractions so the OB is keeping an eye on that. I often have more than 6 an hour (which is the docs cutoff) but never regularly. They are having me keep track of it. My BP jumped a little so we are also watching that. They want it to stay below 140/90 or else we have to deal with it. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays under that line.
I go back to the OB in two weeks and then I start my twice monthly appointments. I will start NST's once I hit the 32 week mark.
We're doing our best to start prepping for baby. We're moving my office downstairs and turning that part of the "big kids room" into a nursery. For now Baby will have to share with Will, Jordan and Genna. ;D By this point in my pregnancy with the girls the nursery was nearly ready, the hospital bag was packed and I was a lot more "ready". This time I am behind on all of it. We're just hoping to be ready before he comes home from the hospital. :D
